Residents Encouraged to Participate in Community Healthcare Survey

Research & Marketing Strategies, Inc (RMS) – a Syracuse-area healthcare consulting and market research company, is conducting a community healthcare awareness survey. The survey is seeking input from residents of the Watertown, Alexandria Bay, and Thousand Islands region to measure community awareness levels about the availability of healthcare services.

A local healthcare institution is sponsoring this research to support their strategic planning efforts and assure their services align with community needs. “RMS wants to hear from residents to understand their baseline awareness of services and understand their healthcare needs in the region,” said Molly Burke, MPH, the research analyst leading this study.

Community feedback regarding this initiative is essential, and residents are strongly encouraged to participate in this research study. Residents can take the on-line survey at:

Individuals can also call 315-635-9802 to have an experienced telephone interviewer complete the survey over the phone. Responses will remain anonymous and confidential. No protected health information will be collected, and all data will be reported to the funder in the aggregate. This survey should take approximately 10 minutes to complete and will be available until early October. Survey respondents can enter a sweepstakes to win a $50 gift card.
