The Third Quarter of 2010 is now upon us. Among other things, that means organizations who want to participate in the Home Health Care CAHPS® (HH-CAHPS®) survey “dry run” have until the end of September to get up and running. Completing the dry run is mandatory for those wishing to participate in HH-CAHPS® and avoid losing two-percent of their Medicare reimbursement.
Of course, no one should wait until September to choose an approved HH-CAHPS® vendor. As with any survey project, time is needed to set up the logistics and prepare for the administration process. In short, it behooves anyone who hasn’t selected an HH-CAHPS® vendor yet, to do so as soon as possible.
