The National Renal Administrators Association (NRAA) recently selected RMS as an ICH-CAHPS® Survey Vendor. Research & Marketing Strategies, Inc. (RMS) has been chosen by the Renal Services Exchange (RSE), a subsidiary of the National Renal Administrators Association (NRAA), as a preferred vendor to conduct ICH-CAHPS® (In-Center Hemodialysis Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems) patient surveys. The award makes RMS one of only five vendors in the country the NRAA has selected to offer competitive pricing to all of its members.

The ICH-CAHPS patient surveys were introduced by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) as a reporting measure to assess the degree to which dialysis facilities provide their patients with a voice in the quality of their hemodialysis care. Dialysis facilities are currently required by CMS to select a third party government approved survey vendor by July 31st, 2014.
RMS offers dialysis facilities the opportunity to conduct the patient surveys by mail, by telephone, or a combination of the two methods, following CMS established guidelines.
