Key Changes include the following:
- Prenotification Letters: All sampled hospice caregivers will now receive a prenotification letter, regardless of your facility survey mode. Letters will be mailed out 7 days before the survey start date.
- Data collection time: The survey window period has extended from 42 days to 49 days. The expanded time of 7 days is aimed at providing caregivers with more time for survey completion.
- Survey Length: The new survey has 39 questions. The old survey had 47 questions. Additionally, some questions have also been simplified and less wordy.

-
Prenotification Letters: We encourage you to let caregivers know that they will now receive a prenotification letter before they receive a survey and/or phone call based upon your surveying modality.
-
